For Super Admins: Full name, email address, and hashed password.
For Admins (PG Owners): Full name, mobile number, city, and hashed password. We also store your payment gateway credentials (e.g., Razorpay Key ID and Secret) securely on our backend.
For Tenants: Full name, mobile number, email (optional), hashed password, and any photos or documents you or your admin upload for verification (stored on Vercel Blob).
For Website Visitors: Information you submit via our contact form (name, phone, subject).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide and improve our services. This includes:

To create and maintain your account.
To securely process payments between Tenants and Admins via our integrated payment gateways.
To allow Admins to manage their properties, tenants, and billing.
To allow Tenants to view their room details, pay rent, and submit maintenance tickets.
To respond to your inquiries submitted through our contact form.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take your security seriously.

Database: Your data is stored in a secure MongoDB Atlas database. We use a multi-database architecture to ensure data separation.
File Storage: All uploaded files (photos, documents) are stored securely on Vercel Blob. We only store the access URL in our database, not the file itself.
Passwords: All user passwords (Admin and Tenant) are one-way hashed using bcrypt. We can never see your plain-text password.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We will only share information in the following limited circumstances:

To Payment Gateways: When a Tenant pays rent, their payment information is passed securely to the Admin's chosen payment provider (e.g., Razorpay) to process the transaction.
To Your Admin: If you are a Tenant, your Admin has access to the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, and payment status, as this is necessary for them to manage the PG.
For Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose your information to law enforcement or other government bodies.
